Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Facility

Bruker Avance III 600

Used largely for:

  • structural investigations of bio-macromolecules,
  • QNMR of agrochemicals
  • impurity profiling of pharmaceuticals
  • drug-DNA interactions and
  • rare organometallic species.

It is also equipped with:

  • BBFO, QNP and TBI 5mm probes, capable of preforming triple resonance experiments with z-gradients.
  • BCU-X unit (to -50 C) and liquid nitrogen transfer line (to -100 C) for variable temperature (VT) experiments,
  • B-ACS 60, automatic 60 bay sample changer.
